Whiz A Great Chex
2018 AQHA Stallion
Grandson of
Banjo Whiz, Night Deposit Chex & Nu Fancee Cash
Great Grandson of
Topsail Whiz, Great Red Pine, Nu Chex To Cash & Nu Cash

Willie is a handsome liver chestnut stallion with a great set of papers.
His sire, Whiz A Great Banjo, was doing great in reining and showed a lot of talent. Due to no fault of his own, he was pulled from training/the show ring at a young age so unfortunately only earned a small amount of money in non-sanctioned shows. He was recently sold to a show home and we can't wait to see how he does!
Willie's grandsires are both money earners. Night Deposit Chex has LTE of $118,000+ in the NRHA, NRCHA and NCHA. He proved to be extremely versatile before he passed away at the young age of 14. Banjo Whiz has LTE of over $14,000 and OE over $705,000+.
His papers also include top sires such as Topsail Whiz (12 Million Dollar Sire), Nu Chex To Cash (NRHA & NRCHA money earner, AQHA #1 All Time Reining Point Earner, only horse in AQHA history to win both the Reining and Working Cow Horse high point titles the same year, NRHA Hall of Fame, NRHA 3 Million Dollar Sire) and Nu Cash (NCHA LTE $38,000+, C0A Bronze, listed consistently as a leading sire of Working Cow Horses since 1995, OE 1.8 Million, NRCHA Hall of Fame, NRCHA Million dollar sire).
Willie has a great start under saddle. He's been ridden on and off for the last two years. That said, we would still call him green broke since he hasn't been ridden daily and still needs those finishing touches. He has a good walk, jog and lope, rides out alone without issue and has been exposed to the rope and cattle.
He's easy to catch, is great with his feet, loads and trailers well and has been hauled many times.
Willie is extremely smart and because of that, is more on the "sensitive side". He is not spooky or a bucker, he's just not recommended for a beginner rider/handler.
We believe he will excel in anything cow, he has a natural drive, all the right moves and the grit.
His only downfall are his ears. He was born during a snowstorm and sadly lost the tips of his ears to frost bite. This is strictly cosmetic.
He's a very tough sale. We purchased him as a weanling as a cow prospect but we now have too many prospects on the go and have decided to concentrate on our main stallion and young mares.
Willie is 5 panel n/n based on parentage.
Asking $5000 but price will increase with training. Willie has just been started back under saddle this spring, hasn't missed a beat and will going back on cattle shortly.
